THIS WEEKS FEATURED GIGS...New Year's Eve // Jon B // Jesse Boykins III & MeLo-X // Ernest Ranglin, Sly & Robbie plus much more...

JUST ANNOUNCED

Shuggie Otis + Marcus Bonfanti
Tue 20 & Wed 21 Nov

Debut London show for genius 70's multi-instrumentalist

Compared with Hendrix and BB King at the age of 15, Shuggie's stand out works are the two expansive, genre-defying, deeply curious albums, 1971's Freedom Flight and 1974's Inspiration Information. The records, essentially crafted as a one- man band, floored Sly Stone, gave the Brothers Johnson their most enduring hit (Strawberry Letter 23) and predated the stylistic synthesist Prince by half a decade. Don't miss this debut London show from the genius multi-instrumentalist.
