Teaming up with tenor saxophonist Pee Wee Ellis, bassist Alec Dankworth, and African percussionist Abass Dodoo, expect progressive jazz originals in a Thelonious Monk style with exciting African rhythms from this exceptional quartet.

A night not to miss!   The London Community Gospel Choir Christmas Residency continues this December! Now in their 30th year, theyre often billed as the nations favourite choir, and its not hard to understand why when you hear their outstanding voices soar. Their vocal harmony singing has backed many a pop star too, showing just how versatile a Gospel Choir can be.

The Queens of Lovers Rock return to the Jazz Cafe for their 2 night Christmas residency. Janet Kay is probably best known in the UK for her hit single Silly Games first released in 1979 and is currently recording her new album. Carroll Thompson's mark on the world of Black British music has led her to be named by many as the queen of Lovers rock.   Grammy award-winning reggae and dub artist Lee Scratch" Perry returns to the Jazz Cafe for two exclusive nights. The Upsetter" has been a highly influential figure in the development and acceptance of reggae and dub in Jamaica over the last 30 years, and his on the edge creative genius remains evident in his own solo albums of the 1970s through his steady stream of mind boggling releases of the 1980s.

Fresh from a significant run of international touring and hot on the heels of their first two albums Routes to Riches" and The Life and Soul", Mamas Gun are back in the studio and are set to make a welcome return to the Jazz Cafe. Their heart-warmingly catchy, passionate soul sounds are sure to get your feet tapping and hips swinging.   The Doggett Brothers were formed by Greg and Carl Doggett in 2009, and their sound is a tight blend of UK soul, latin, funk, nu jazz and break-beat music. The band have hooked up with the powerhouse vocals of Sulene Fleming who features on their new single 'Joy' as well as their debut album which is set for release in early 2013.
