Last year saw the return of triple platinum selling band, Toploader, with their third studio album "Only Human". The album saw the band create a more mature sound, which drew much praise from critics, with Mojo Magazine proclaiming "Their best album yet!". The band is currently in the studio writing and a further single from 'Only Human' is scheduled for release later in 2012/3. They return to the Jazz Cafe in January!

Larry is a living musical legend three times over: as the bassist/singer with "Sly & the Family Stone"; as leader of the hit-making funk group "Graham Central Station" in the 70's; and as a top-selling solo artist in the 80's. Larry has been recording new material and formed a brand new "Graham Central Station" band with whom he brings to the Jazz Cafe to perform his greatest hits as well as track from the brand new album "Raise Up". Legendary rock drummer, Ginger Baker, renowned for his work with Cream and Blind Faith, is returning to the UK for a jazz fusion tour. Teaming up with tenor saxophonist Pee Wee Ellis, bassist Alec Dankworth, and African percussionist Abass Dodoo, the quartet will be performing as Ginger Baker's Jazz Confusion so expect progressive jazz originals in a Thelonious Monk style with exciting African rhythms from this exceptional quartet.
